Our Terms

• Prices and designs are confirmed in writing once specifications have been agreed
• Delivery time and delivery address is as specified/agreed in writing.
• Any allergies and special dietary requirements you have must be discussed prior to ordering your cake.
• Changes to an initial order are subject to type of cake. For fruit cakes – 14 days from date of order, for sponge cakes – 1 month from date of order.
• Alterations to the design of your cake will be undertaken where possible and will be dependant on how much work on your cake order has already been completed. Additional charges may be incurred for alterations.
• For wedding cakes, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a date. 50% of the total cost is required on placing an order (non-refundable, to cover initial costs) and balance is due 28 days before the wedding date.
• For celebration cakes, 50% of the total cost of the cake is payable on placing an order (non-refundable) and the balance is due on collection/delivery.
• Cancellations - If you cancel your wedding cake order more than 6 weeks before the required date, the full deposit will be retained and additional charges may be made for specific work already undertaken. The full balance will be charged for cancelling a wedding cake order within 6 weeks from the required date. A fee may be charged for cancelling a celebration cake order, depending on how much work on your order has been undertaken.
• Payments are to be made by cheque, bank transfer or cash. Cheque payments are only complete when cleared/processed.
